Dear Mr. Mazur,
The Pittsburgh I-Net after speaking with Mr. Richard Emenecker recognizes certain concerns AT&T has regarding the Working Group's request for a meeting.
The Pittsburgh I-Net Working Group envisions a positive meeting which will give us the opportunity to discuss broad goals and visions for the creation of a high speed telecommunication network second to none in the United States. The Working Group wants to understand how AT&T sees itself as a corporate leader concerned with how the children of Pittsburgh, especially low income and minority children, are not left behind in the technology age.
Once Deputy Mayor Tom Cox sends you his letter indicating that the City's ok with you having a meeting with the I-Net Working Group I will call your office. Hopefully, at that time we can move forward with arranging the meeting.
Thanks for your time and effort and we look forward to meeting with you.creation of an I-Net infrastructure that will allow low-income and minority children the chance to compete for high-tech jobs of the future.
Sincerely,
Richard R. Flanagan
